Whitening/
Prior to each whitening appointment we provide a consultation to assess the health and eligibility of your teeth before the service, catering a treatment plan to your needs.
We use high quality 6% Hydrogen Peroxide gel during our whitening procedure, which is approved and regulated by The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) as safe for teeth whitening.
Whitening sessions are conducted in four 15-minute intervals, ensuring the gel is fresh throughout the entire appointment (which gives our amazing results!).
All whitening clients will receive:

Is everyone suitable for teeth whitening?
Teeth whitening is not suitable for someone pregnant or breastfeeding and children under the age of 16.
Additionally, you must NOT have had any major dental work, lip filler, lip piercing, tounge piercing or a lip tattoo within 2 WEEKS PRIOR to your appointment.
How many shades whiter will my teeth be?
Our treatments can result in up to 14 shades whiter, but results may vary for each individual. Teeth whitening removes any surface staining but cannot change the internal colour of your teeth as it does not penetrate the enamel. This means that some people may see greater results if the natural colour of their enamel is whiter.
What do I need to do before my appointment?
2 WEEKS PRIOR:

ON THE DAY:

Avoid staining foods 12-24 hours prior

Brush teeth GENTLY up to 1 hour before your appointment. After brushing, only water is allowed to be consumed until appointment is finished.

If you think you may have sensitive teeth, it is best to use sensitive toothpaste leading up to the appointment.

Having a dental clean prior to your appointment is recommended to achieve the best results.
How long do results last?
Our results can last between 3-12 months depending on diet, lifestyle and genetic factors. Having a 4-6 week touch up session after your initial appointment will help prolong these results. To maintain your whitest smile we recommend a touch up every 3-6 months.
Will the treatment cause any pain or sensitivity?
We use a safe 6% hydrogen peroxide gel, which will not cause any pain or sensitivity. If you commonly experience sensitivity in your teeth, we suggest using a sensitive toothpaste, such as Sensodyne for 2 days before your appointment and following the treatment. If mild sensitivity does arise during the session, it is a temporary side effect and will usually subside within 1-2 days.
